Our fifth beer festival was a roaring success with the extra sunshine ordered just for this week making it a hot one! 24 guest ales, ciders, perrys & a selection of delicious sausages all on offer. Congratulations to Carl Stout (Manager of the Burton Bridge Inn) for completing the London to Paris bike ride challenge (July 2011) to raise money for CLIC SARGENT. The 293miles took Carl 22 & half hours to cycle with 15,000ft climbed in total. Carl has raised just over £3,000 for CLIC SARGENT & would like to thank all of those who supported him & backed this worthwhile charity. The Burton Mail story & photos. |
