History...

The Bridge Inn was originally known as the 'Fox & Goose' & was built in the late 17th Century.  Purchased by the Bridge Brewery in 1982, the pub has been at the heart of maintaining a successful independent brewery.  The pub is fondly known as “The Bridge” & is situated 20 yards from the end of the Burton Bridge.  The town centre is within walking distance and it’s a 20 minute walk from the train station.   Even though it has a modest exterior, the Bridge Inn is deceivingly spacious with two bar areas - both decorated with period features, memorabilia & real fires. Please visit the Burton Bridge Brewery website for further reading on the history of the Brewery.
